Mission & Vision

"Go and make disciples..."
- Jesus in Matthew 18:19

The Mission

To advance the kingdom of Jesus Christ
by making disciples.

We do this through the purposeful stewardship of our resources, public worship of God including preaching of the Gospel according to the Scriptures, outreach and evangelism to our community and beyond, meaningful and deepening relationships within the fellowship, and intentional spiritual growth.

The Vision

To see a church of faithful believers expressing fervent love within their spheres of influence by pursuing peace, justice, and mercy so that Lynn, the North Shore, and beyond will know and experience the saving and transformative love of the one true God

What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Statement of Faith

The following expresses our core beliefs and the doctrine that forms the foundation for all teaching, preaching and service in the church:
We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.
2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19, John 10:30

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His current intercession for the saints, and in His personal return in power and glory.
John 1:1, Luke 1:26-38, John 3:16-17, Luke 24:51, Romans 8:34, Hebrews 9:28

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone.
Ephesians 2:8

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is sanctified and enabled to live a godly life.
John 14:26, John 16:13-15, Galatians 5:22-23

We believe in the resurrection of both believers and nonbelievers; they who are saved unto the resurrection of life and they who are lost unto the resurrection of judgement.
Matthew 25:31-46, Revelation 20:11-15, Daniel 12:2, John 5:29

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
John 11:52, John 17:20-23
